Encountering a large barge on the Mississippi

It always seems you pass a barge at the wrong location. When you are watching this video you will see that we needed to stay left of the up coming green buoy. You never know which way the barge will turn. This is one of the largest barges we encountered. It had a group of barges in a six by six arrangement. When it passes you will see the three engines stir the water and create a large turbulence. Most Tugs only have two engines.
