Our new best friends, Supermen Brandon and Dustin Matty from King Marine in Cape Girardeau, MO.

As we journeyed down the river today knowing we could not make the 250 miles to Kentucky Lake, our hope was Brandon would be there to pull us out of the river. There is no marina from Hoppie's to the Tennessee River. Willis contacted King Marine earlier this year to trailer our boat, gas it up and change the engine oil. We tried and could not reach Brandon so we were getting nervous discussing what other options we might have. Thankfully Brandon called us saving the day as we approached the landing. There were no other good options if something happened to prohibit their availability.
