Day-13 May 17, Thursday 7:30 a.m.

Grand Harbor Marina. Iuka Mississippi

We are waiting for the marina gas pumps to open at 8:00 a.m. and then we are headed south on the Tombigbee. The map that is on the side post shows the final leg of our river journey then to Florida. We only have to travel 70 miles to the next marina, but there are four locks to go thru today, so hopefully a short day. Last night by the time we docked and set up it was 7:00. Willis grilled hamburgers and two cans of beans, by the time we were done it was dark. I did last nights blog on the dock, in the dark at 8:15. No mosquitoes but I had bugs liking my computer screen
Grand Harbor Marina. Iuka MS This is a condo attached to the marina . This marina is the most elite marina we have stayed in. They put us back by the small boats. It was still nice.

The night guard was there to meet us.

On our travels we need to gas up every 70 miles. A marina is the best choice but if they are not available we refill on the fly, with our spare gas cans. This marina is in Clifton TN. The marinas are unbelievably accommodating, Clifton Marina let us use their courtesy car at no charge to go to breakfast and grocery shop.
