Day-12 May 16, Wednesday 8:32 p.m.

115 miles traveled today. We left Kentucky Lake and continued on the Tennessee River to our only lock and dam located on Pickwick Lake our final destination. If you look at a map we are in the corner of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee

We left Johnsonville, Tennessee this morning at 7:30 a.m. arrived at our marina at 6:30 p.m.

A view from the inside of our boat. For most of last week we traveled with the front center plastic curtain installed. Today the weather was to warm to have it closed up. We leave both side windshields up or the wind tires you out.
A nice view of a house on a protruding rock.
If you look close you can see the hill eroding away. Almost up to the house.
Erosion is a problem for the river. It destroys the shore and deposits silt down the river that needs to be dredged out.

Breakfast at Clifton, TN

Our only lock today, You are probably tired of lock pictures, but this tug boat was behind us and the lock-master made us wait two hours to get him thru first. It was a large rise, 55 feet to Pickwick Lake,
